Architect Parviz Moayyed-Ahd dies at 86

TEHRAN – Veteran Iranian architect Parviz Moayyed-Ahd who was the designer of the Imam Khomeini Mosalla in Tehran died of natural causes at his office in Tehran on January 28. He was 86.

He studied architecture at Sorbonne University in Paris.

His funeral procession on Sunday began from the mosalla, and he was buried in Rey in the courtyard of the Shrine of Imamzadeh Abdul Azim Hassani, a grandson of Imam Hassan (AS).
